Our Services

Road construction in Edo State, Abuja and across Nigeria.

Our commitment to excellence shines on every road project. What shines brightest is our guarantee: the most durable roads, in record time.

Asphalt road construction by Pekuric: 3.4km Obaretin Forest Reserve Road, Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State

Roads are the foundation of every community and every project. Pekuric constructs asphalt roads, access roads and paved areas for government, corporate and private clients, working from our offices in Benin City and Abuja and mobilising across Edo State, Delta State, Rivers State, the Federal Capital Territory and the rest of Nigeria.

What we build

  • Asphalt roads: new construction through the full road structure, from subgrade to wearing course
  • Access and estate roads: roads that connect sites, estates, industrial areas and communities
  • Interlock paving and walkways: durable paved surfaces for terminals, car parks and pedestrian areas, as delivered at the Benin Central Bus Terminal
  • Earthworks and site preparation: clearing, grading, filling and compaction
  • Drainage and associated civil works: side drains and culverts that protect the pavement

Equipment that keeps roads on schedule

Road construction depends on the right machinery at the right time. Our owned fleet includes motor graders, vibratory rollers and compactors, an asphalt paver, tipper and dump trucks, water tankers and low-loaders. Because we own it, we do not wait for hire availability, and we control the quality of every layer.

How a road is built

  1. Survey and setting out. The route, levels and drainage are established.
  2. Clearing and earthworks. The route is cleared and graded to the design profile.
  3. Subgrade preparation. The ground is shaped and compacted to the required strength.
  4. Base layers. Granular layers are placed and compacted to spread the load.
  5. Asphalt paving. Asphalt is laid and rolled to the specified thickness and density.
  6. Drainage, shoulders and markings. Water is directed away and the road is finished for traffic.

Proven on the ground

Pekuric constructed a 3.4 km asphalt road through the Obaretin corridor in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State, and delivered interlock paving, walkways and external works at the Benin Central Bus Terminal. See our guide to asphalt and concrete roads in Nigeria to understand how pavements are chosen.

Serving roads across Nigeria

Road projects often sit far from head offices, which is why we maintain our own fleet and teams that can mobilise quickly. We serve Benin City and Edo State, Abuja and the FCT, Port Harcourt and Rivers State, Delta State, the wider South South and clients across Nigeria.
