Where is Pekuric based, and where do you work?
Our head office is at 1 Imaghodor Street, Off Oba Eweka Road, Ihama GRA, Benin City, Edo State, and we have an office at 50 Ebitu Ukiwe Street, Jabi, Abuja. We build across Nigeria, including Edo State, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos.
What kinds of buildings do you construct?
Our projects include a transit terminal, an academic campus, a newspaper and printing complex, a creative hub, an innovation hub, agro-processing foundations and a multi-storey commercial bank building. Browse the completed projects to see each one.
Do you build roads in Edo State?
Yes. Road construction is one of our core services. Recent work includes the 3.4km Obaretin Forest Reserve Road in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State, which we partnered on. Our own pavers, rollers and graders help keep road projects durable and on schedule.
Can you renovate or remodel an existing building?
Yes. We have renovated and remodelled the Edo State School of Health Technology and the Nigerian Observer printing complex, and we partnered on the renovation of the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, all in Benin City.
Who are your clients?
We work for government agencies, corporate developers and private clients. Our clients include the Edo State Government, the Ogun State Government, the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, The Nigerian Observer, A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Ltd, Saroafrica International and Green Hills Agric Products.
How long does a construction project take?
It depends on scope. For reference, Phase 2 of the Benin Central Bus Terminal took 9 months, the Edo State School of Health Technology works took 6 months and the Nigerian Observer complex (Phase 2) was delivered in 12 weeks. We agree a schedule with you at the start of every project.
Do you own your plant and equipment?
Yes. We operate more than 20 units of our own heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, pay loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, rollers, an asphalt paver, tipper trucks and crane trucks. Owning the fleet lets us mobilise fast and keep quality under our control.
How do you manage safety and quality on site?
Safety comes first at Pekuric. We apply strict safety standards, quality control and environmental responsibility on every site, and our safety performance is nearly 10 times better than the industry average.
Do you offer architectural design and project management?
Yes. Our architects produce building designs that meet emerging global standards, and our consulting team provides feasibility studies, valuations and project management.
