Foundations built to carry heavy loads

Processing equipment concentrates weight and vibration, so foundations must be designed and built with great care. At Ato Mills in Edo State, Pekuric delivered reinforced-concrete tank foundations for an agro-processing mill: deep circular excavations, dense reinforcement cages, circular formwork and carefully controlled concrete pours. From site to ready-to-install

Our civil works prepare the ground, literally, for the process equipment that follows. A typical sequence starts with survey and site investigation, then clearing and earthworks, foundations and tank bases, structures and buildings, drainage and containment, and access roads and hardstanding. Each stage is planned so that mechanical and electrical contractors can start on a clean, accurate, safe platform.

Heavy plant, deep excavations and lifting operations demand disciplined site management. We apply strict safety standards on every site, and our safety performance is nearly 10 times better than the industry average. Careful planning of access, lifting and excavation, and clear communication with other contractors on site, keep everyone safe and the programme on track.
